Terms and conditions
Last updated: 17 July 2026
These terms apply to all memberships, classes, trial classes and other services of Combat Academy. By taking out a membership or taking part in a class, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Combat Academy

Email: info@combat-academy.nl
CoC: 42104004
VAT: NL869748592B01
IBAN: NL72 RABO 0176 3030 49
2. Membership and registration
You become a member by taking out a membership via our website or at the front desk. For the kids and youth memberships, a parent or legal guardian takes out the membership on behalf of the minor.
3. Membership type and term
Our memberships are billed every 4 weeks and have a minimum term. During the first three months they can be cancelled in the interim. If you do not cancel during that period, the membership continues as a one-year contract with a term of twelve months, counted from the start date. After the twelve-month contract period ends, the membership is converted into a membership that can be cancelled in the interim, unless agreed otherwise.
The separate class card (10 sessions) is not a membership but a one-off purchase and does not fall under the contract period.
4. Prices and payment
The current prices are shown on our website. The membership fees are collected every 4 weeks by direct debit (SEPA) through our payment provider Mollie. When taking out the membership, you provide a direct debit mandate for this. You ensure that there are sufficient funds in your account.
If a direct debit fails or is reversed, we may ask you to pay the amount after all. In the event of repeated non-payment, we may suspend access to the classes and claim the outstanding amount, whereby any additional costs may be for your account.
5. Cooling-off period and withdrawal
If you take out a membership online, you have, as a consumer, a statutory cooling-off period of fourteen days during which you may withdraw from the agreement free of charge, unless the service has, with your consent, already been fully performed within that period. You can notify us of your withdrawal via info@combat-academy.nl or via the facility provided for this on our website.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel by email to info@combat-academy.nl or at the front desk. During the first three months, a notice period of one calendar month applies. After conversion to the one-year contract, you can cancel as of the end of the contract period, observing a notice period of one calendar month. Interim cancellation during the twelve-month contract period is not possible, except in the special cases mentioned in article 7.
7. Special circumstances
In the event of a long-term injury or illness, you can submit a reasoned request to temporarily pause your membership for the duration of your recovery. In the event of a move beyond a reasonable travelling distance, you can submit a reasoned request to terminate your membership early. We will assess such a request reasonably and may ask for supporting evidence, such as a medical certificate or proof of registration at the new address. A pause extends the contract period by the duration of the pause.
8. Classes, schedule and access
The class schedule is shown on our website and may change. We make every effort to run the classes according to the schedule, but we may change, combine or cancel classes, for example on public holidays, during holidays or in unforeseen circumstances. This does not give any right to a refund as long as the regular offering largely remains available.
9. House rules and conduct
We expect every member to behave respectfully towards trainers and fellow athletes. You follow the trainers' instructions and comply with the house rules in the gym. In the event of transgressive or dangerous behaviour, we may deny access, without any right to a refund.
10. Health and liability
Participation in the training is at your own risk. You only train if your health allows it; if in doubt, consult a doctor first. Combat Academy is not liable for injuries, harm, or loss or theft of belongings, except in the event of intent or gross negligence on our part. Report an injury or health complaint to the trainer in advance.
11. Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, which you can find on our website.
12. Changes to the terms and prices
We may change these terms and the prices. We announce price changes during an ongoing one-year contract at least one month in advance. If you do not agree with a price increase during the contract period, you can terminate the membership in writing as of the effective date of the increase. This option does not apply to price adjustments arising from a statutory measure, such as a change in VAT.
13. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms.
